Cheap Cookware Sets

Whether you're a novice cook or an experienced chef, a complete cookware set is essential to any kitchen. Different cooking methods require different cookware, so you should find one that suits your needs. If you're not sure which type of cookware set is best for you, here is a quick look at the most common ones:

o Aluminum: Although it is lightweight and conducts heat rather well, aluminum dents quite easily. It also needs to be anodized to avoid reacting with food. However, since anodized cookware is harder than steel, it can last a lifetime.

o Stainless steel: Stainless steel is attractive, durable and easy to maintain. It usually has a copper or aluminum core for better conductivity. In addition, it is resistant to scratching, denting and warping.

o Cast iron: Despite its superb durability and longevity, cast iron cookware requires a bit of additional maintenance. However, it is excellent for a variety of cooking methods including baking, frying, stewing, braising, slow cooking and much more.

o Non-Stick cookware: Non-stick cookware is coated with a material designed to prevent food from sticking to the cookware during the cooking process. Most non-stick pans are made using Teflon coating. Non-stick cookware is useful in cooking since it requires much less cooking oil.

Choose whichever you think will work best for you, but do some research before choosing. a proper cookware set will not only help improve your culinary skills, it will help you gain more efficiency as you experiment with different methods of cooking in the kitchen.
